Question on the artificial sweetener Maltitol …….?

I recently purchased from Costco called Fine chocolate imported Belgian Chocolate made by Amber Lyn chocolate if anyone knows anything about the sweetener and chocolate, please let me know. I would like to know the pros and cons of chocolate and chocolate if it is safe to eat. serious answers please. and yes I had stomach problems I'm not diabetic, however, it is for diabetics'm not a fan of black chocolate, I prefer chocolate milk. What won me over to buy these chocolates was the presence of French Vanilla as an option. so does anyone know of other chocolate bars that are vanilla French?

Usually I avoid any foods made with artificial sweeteners and because of gastric problems. It is safe to eat in moderation.
